Japan – (FILE PHOTO) A child looks closely at a insect, June 24, 2011. When summertime comes around in Japan, children enjoy collecting a variety of insects such as rhinoceros beetles, butterflies, and locusts. Around forests and rice paddies, they sometimes compete to catch more insects than other kids or work together to catch them. They let insects fight and keep them as pets afterwards.
