Fifty Shades of Grey in Japanese, November 1, 2012 – The erotic best seller written by EL James finally hits Japanese bookstores this week in translated form. The Japanese version published by Hayakawa Publishing comes in two volumes and runs 800 pages, 300 more than the English version. Interest in Japan is high following the success of the book around the world and rumours of a Hollywood movie version. The book has prime positioning in the front of local bookstores with its launch.
