UNIQLO Opens Its Largest Store

March 16, 2012, Tokyo, Japan – A herd of bargain-hunters occupies every inch of the floor space of Uniqlo’s newest store opened at the Ginza shopping district in the heart of Tokyo on Friday, March 16, 2012. The mega store occupies a whole complex, stretching the retailer’s merchandize from the building’s ground to its 12th floor, occupying some 4,950 square meters of sales space. The new flagship store also incorporates a number of global features, including having all price tags in four different languages. Some 100 of the store’s 520 employees are foreigners, who will be able to meet customers’ needs in English, Korean, Chinese, Spanish and French languages. (Photo by Natsuki Sakai/AFLO)
