Tokyo, Japan – Protesters march with anti-nuclear signs started from Yoyogi Park in Tokyo, February 11, 2012, who numbered around 12,000 according to the organiser, An antinuclear civic group led by Oe and other activists held anti-nuclear rallies in various city around Japan. The rallies were held as part of the group’s campaign to collect 10 million signatures against nuclear power to submit it to the prime minister.

In Japan, women traditionally give Valentine’s gifts to their friends, family, colleagues and boyfriends. There is a huge choice of confectionary on sale especially in the classy Ginza shopping district. Male counterparts have it much easier as they are supposed to return the favour one month later on March 14th on the White Day Festival.
