Wako, Japan – Asimo, Honda’s revamped human-shaped robot, demonstrates its ability to walk without falling over padded bumps on the floor during a demonstration of its significant y improved intelligence and physical ability at its research facility in Wako City, outside Tokyo. Asimo also demonstrated its ability to run smoother and faster at 9 kilometers per hour instead of the earlier 6 kph, and even distinguish the voices of three people spoken at once to figure out that one woman wanted hot coffee, another orange juice, and still another milk tea.
