New 300km/hr Hayabusa Bullet Train

The all new futuristic looking shinkansen called the Hayabusa makes its debut on March 5, 2011 as it passes through Musashi-Urawa, north of Tokyo. (Click on the image below to view the full gallery.)

The new Hayabusa Shinkansen with the extended nose can travel as fast as 300 kilometers per hour, linking Tokyo with Shin-Aomori in the northernmost prefecture on Japan’s Honshu main island in three hours and 10 minutes on its fastest run. (Photo by Natsuki Sakai/AFLO)
