Star Wars Themed Airplanes Introduced by ANA

ANA presents Star Wars airplanes

On August 18, 2015, Tokyo, Japan : Japan’s All Nippon Airways presents three designs for its Star Wars-themed airplanes during a press conference in Tokyo, Japan. ANA, which signed a five-year promotion license contract with the Walt Disney Co. last April, said that the Star Wars flights will feature the movie characters also in the headrest covers, napkins, cups and in-flight decorations. The iconic R2-D2 droid from the original Star Wars movies, as well as the new droid BB-8, which will appear in new movie “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” will feature on the airplane liveries, and all 6 of the Star Wars films to-date will be included in the in-flight entertainment system. According to ANA, some of the Star Wars-themed jetliners might also operate on international routes.
