Tokyo, Japan – Different kinds of “Cup no Fuchiko” climb on the side of a glass on August 19, 2014. These mini figures are popular amongst young Japanese women who often use them when composing pictures of their lunch. The name Cup no Fuchiko translates to or “office lady, or OL, on the side of a cup” and the figures are sold as drink ornaments. Made by Kitan Club CO. LTD Cup no Fuchiko was created by the manga artist Katsuki Tanaka.
