Tokyo, Japan – An anti-racist holds a placard during the protest for the members of the NPO Houjin Gaikokujin Hanzai Tsuiho Undo (The Movement for Eliminating Crimes by Foreigners) in Akihabara district on May 17, 2015. The supposed purpose of the hate rally, approved by the Tokyo Metropolitan government, was to abuse a 15-year-old individual foreign nationality by shouting “Get out of Japan!” This is not the first time that this conservative group has attacked foreign children. In 2009 this NPO marched against a 14-year-old Philippine junior high school girl whose parents were undocumented in Saitama prefecture, and also attacked a Korean Primary School in Kyoto.
