Our multicultural team understands the importance of reporting and delivering accurate images as the news happens.

Mark Eite, Director of Business Development Originally from the UK, Mark Eite moved to Japan in 1996. His first job was on the JET Teaching Programme before he joined Citibank where he managed multinational corporate accounts. His love of photography and “the beautiful game” led him to Aflo in 2002 at the time of the FIFA Soccer World Cup. Since joining Aflo, Mark has helped the company to triple in size growing its editorial businesses where it is now a market leader in news, sports and entertainment content in Japan. He is directly responsible for Aflo’s international businesses including NipponNews.net. Mark loves running, cycling, and J.League soccer, and is currently addicted to Instagram.

Kenichi Soga, International Content Supply Manager Ken was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. He’s been with the company since the very early days, experiencing the economic bubble, soccer world cup and the 1998 Nagano Winter Olympics. Educated in the United States, he brings a wide range of expertise in the photographic agency world. He speaks Japanese and English fluently.

 

Francesco Libassi, Picture Desk Francesco is originally from Parma, a small town in the northern part of Italy and moved to Japan in 2007. Working as a photographer, he also has a die hard passion for web design and all things digital. In his free time, he enjoys playing the guitar (he’s Italian) and traditional Japanese instruments such as the Shakuhachi flute that he proudly owns. At Nippon News, he works the picture desk to coordinate photo shoots for our photographers and helps manage the growing number of editorial content the company produces on a daily basis. 日本ニュース 編集長 マーク・エイテ マークはイングランド出身で1996年にジェットプログラムの英語講師として来日。以後、シティバンク コーポレーションにて多国籍企業との提携業務をマネージャーとして担当する。マークの写真と美しい試合(サッカー)に対する愛が、彼を日本ニュースへと導き、彼の写真ニュース業界でのキャリアが2002年に始まった。現在の役職に就任後、エディトリアル部門での売り上げを三倍にまで上げる偉業を成し遂げ、日本におけるニュース、スポーツ、エンターテインメント部門でのキーマンである。日本ニュースの運営者としてチームをまとめている。趣向として、ランニングやサイクリング、サッカー鑑賞をこよなく愛し、インスタグラムに依存している。

日本ニュース 副部長 曽我 健一 曽我健一は日本ニュースにおける唯一の日本人としてカメラマンと海外提携パートナーとの重要な橋渡し役となっている。曽我氏は日本でのバブル経済を経験、またワールドカップや1998年の長野オリンピックでの仲介業務を担当する。彼はアメリカで教育を受けた後にフォトエージェンシー業界に参入。英語と日本語を流暢に操る。

ピクチャーデスク兼コーディネーター フランチェスコ・リバッスィー フランチェスコはパルマというイタリア北部の小さな町出身であり、2007年に写真家として来日。ウェブデザインとデジタルアートに関心を持つ。彼はイタリア人なので時間がある時にはギターを弾き、たまに尺八(私物)を吹く。フランチェスコの業務内容はカメラマンと日本ニュースとの仲介役として取材の許可を取ったり、エディトリアルのコンテンツの獲得に力を注いでいる。 写真家としての彼の作品はここをクリック

Francesco Libassi, Picture Desk Francesco e’ originario di Parma, ridente cittadina del Nord Italia, e si trasferisce in Giappone nel 2007. Oltre a lavorare come fotografo, ha anche una grande passione per il web design e tutto ciò  che e’ digitale. Nel suo (poco) tempo libero, da buon Italiano si diverte a strimpellare la sua chitarra, oltre ai suoi strumenti tradizionali Giapponesi, come il flauto Shakuhachi. Francesco e’ responsabile del Picture Desk di Nippon News, coordina gli shooting dei nostri fotografi e videographers e si occupa di editare e spedire in tutto il mondo la nostra produzione editoriale.
