The store which opened in 2013 allows customers to interact with live penguins and even to feed them.
According to the staff, the bar has become a popular tourist spot among foreign visitors. The first Penguin Bar opened in Okinawa 10 years ago.
Customers can feed and take pictures of penguins at the Penguin Bar and try original drinks such as “Penguin Bar Original Frozen Cocktail” for 1,000 JPY ($9.25 USD) and Penguin-shaped foods. Feeding time is at 7pm nightly.
