Japanese microbiologist Omura won the 2015 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine along with two other scientists “for their discoveries concerning a novel therapy against infections caused by roundworm parasites”.

Takaaki Kajita wins Nobel Prize for Physics

Kajita of the University of Tokyo and Canadian Arthur McDonald were awarded the Prize for discovering neutrino oscillations, which show that neutrinos have mass.
