Tokyo, Japan – Freelance Photojournalist Yuichi Sugimoto shows the official notification from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan which denied his legal right to get his passport during a press conference at the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Japan, February 12, 2015. Sugimoto will take legal action against the Japanese Government after they confiscated his passport to prevent him from traveling to Syria to report on the civil war there.
