The Pokemon Go app finally arrived in the land of the Pokemon on Friday 22, July two weeks after its launch in the United States.
The release of the app in Japan had been rumoured for the past few days after the leak of details of a partnership deal with McDonalds Japan to create Pokemon Gyms in its 3,000 locations.
Nintendo’s market value has almost doubled since the app created by Niantic first launched in America.
