Tokyo, Japan – Allen Wu, DJI Japan General Manager, introduces the new Phantom 4 that can dodge obstacles and track objects in Roppongi Hills on March 3, 2016. DJI’s new model integrates a set of stereo cameras and proximity sensors that work with a computer software vision, which allows the Phantom 4 to fly autonomously. The new generation drone includes two newly added features, the ActiveTrack to continuously record a moving object and TapFly that allows users to select waypoints by controlling their smartphone or tablet. The Phantom 4 includes an Obstacle Sensing System that allows avoiding obstacles and a smart battery that enables roughly 28 minutes of continuous flight while using the on-board 4K camera.
