Tokyo, Japan – Thousands of blue LED lights float down Tokyo’s Sumida River during the Tokyo Hotaru Festival, May 26, 2013. Every year at the Tokyo Hotaru “Symphony of Light” (Hikari no Symphony) thousands of lights “payer stars” (inori no hoshi) are thrown along to the river. This year in collaboration with Tokyo Sky Tree the organizers also illuminate the tower to support the Tokyo City as a candidate of Olympic 2020. (Photo by Rodrigo Reyes Marin/AFLO)
